Utilizing QuickBooks to Prepare for Tax Season

In this workshop, WBDC will show you the importance of reconciling cash and credit card accounts; accounts receivable, and accounts payable; as well as producing year-end financial reports. You will see how to use QuickBooks to review and prepare Form 1099, set a closing date at year-end, and back up your files. While this is not a course in tax return preparation, it will allow you to understand how QuickBooks can be used to streamline the process.

WBDC REDUCED FEE SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The WBDC Reduced Fee Scholarship Fund assures enrollment to eligible applicants regardless of ability to pay by providing fee reductions to low-income clients. Fees for programs and services are determined by a sliding scale based on yearly income. Speak to your WBDC Business/Career Specialist for a confidential application.
