Workshops and one-on-one career coaching, for those who are unemployed or who are willing to explore other professional avenues in order to reach their career goals.

Financial Training

Access to Capital Counseling

Workshops and counseling focused on methods and strategies to secure funds needed to start and expand a business as well as reviewing and critiquing business plans.  Counselors work with clients one-on-one to move their business forward; sustain business health and tackle issues including:  Strategic Planning, Cash Flow Management, Sales/Marketing, etc.

Financial Coaching

Personal financial coaching tailored to individual needs and goals for the purpose of creating a stable financial future and improved quality of life. Components of the program include: Budget Coaching, Seminars and Long-term Financial Coaching addressing credit related issues, increasing personal wealth and saving for long-term goals. 

Hands On Finance Series

Provides business owners with guidance on reading and understanding financial statements as well as insight on how these financial documents are strategic tools for business growth and decision-making.

One-on-One Business Counseling

Practical  hands-on guidance on critical issues facing today’s small businesses; including but not limited to the areas of marketing, finance and insurance, human resources, legal issues and taxes.  

Small Business Seminars

Pertinent seminars hosted throughout the state on topics including: QuickBooks, Public Speaking,  Constant Contact, Website Development, Entrepreneurship, Intellectual Property Series; Marketing Basics, Women Certification, Newsletter Writing, Excel and CT Certification. Seminars are conducted the classroom and via Webinars and Teleclasses.
